What to expect
Working with a designer towards your bespoke commission should be fun.
There is this magic moment, when you meet a client for the first time, where the two of you “click”. And that involves understanding and trusting each other.
Be open minded, relaxed and think about what you want. How that is going to be translated into jewellery is something sofianni does with you.
After the first consultation we present you with a range of ideas.
As we narrow it down and the ideas get finallised, you will get two or three versions of the chosen idea and eventually, a technical drawing.
How much it costs
People often think that the cost of commissioning a piece will be forbidding. Commissions in gold with sofianni start at 2,000 pounds, while we also welcome commissions in silver, starting at 500 pounds. Having a budget in mind often helps guide the design process and we can work towards any budget.
How long will it take
Usually, from inception to completion, a bespoke piece will take between 4-6 weeks, so if you are have a special occasion in mind, plan ahead. By allowing more time for the initial stage of design we can make sure you get something uniquely yours.
How to make the most of it
You will make the most of working with sofianni if you don’t come with images of jewellery you like.
